DO IT YOURSELF (DIY) - MOTOR DRIVER KIT


ULN2xxx DC motor driver kit belongs to the family of so called "do it yourself" (DIY) solutions. The solution is flexible and offers the ability to control various types of DC motors. It is intended for everyone, beginners to professionals, hobbyists, enthusiasts and belongs to everyone. Do not hesitate, start your robot or motor control project with ULN2xxx kit, you can expect large numbers of different possibilities with our motor driver kits. Please read the contents of the kit for more details.

Description / What you can build


This is an example of what you can build with ULN2xxx DIY development system (pictures below). As you can see, the implemented motor driver supports multiple types of DC motors. It supports a variety of algorithms for motor control: stepping, microstepping, PWM etc. With additional LED matrix, software development is simpler. For additional information, read our guidance, the possibilities are great.

2x Stepper Motor Driver

Stepper motor #1

Green 4x LED matrix, channel for diagnostic/testing.
2x Screw terminal connector, ULN2xxx-DC motor connection.
JMP(1-4) - choose between LED/Screw terminal connector.

Stepper motor #2

Yellow 4x LED matrix, channel for diagnostic/testing.
2x Screw terminal connector, ULN2xxx-DC motor connection.
JMP(5-8) - choose between LED/Screw terminal connector.

Possibilities:
- Unipolar and bipolar stepper motor control.
- Direction and speed regulation.

4x H-Bridge / 8x Half Bridge

Protoboard with additional resistors supports 4x H-Bridge / 8x Half Bridge channals.

LED Matrix

Save your workspace. With LED matrix development and control software testing is easier, DC motors are not required.

Protoboard

The power of flexibility.

Matrix dimension 9x9 solder points, 2.54mm, soldering on the back side. For each input / output channel, three solder points are connected in series, including a 3x9 matrix of free solder points.

Build your:
H-Bridge, adapter connectors, additional LED matrices, keypad for manual motor control, pull up/down resistors, measurement device ground (GND) reference point, modules ...

Predefined connection with development system / microcontroller:
- 2x5 input pin head male connector - flat cable, 10 wires.

Universal connection with development system / microcontroller:
Build your custom adapter connector with protoboard. Do it yourself!

It is compatible with the most popular embedded development boards including your own.

Back-EMF

Back-EMF route is controlled through jumper JMP9 setup. ULN2xxx COM pin.
Mounting holes

Easy installation with 4x mounting holes, each 6 mm in diameter.
